HR brings the drama

"I quit. I'm giving you six weeks time to find a replacement for me to train."

Sounds easy huh? Apparently, it's not. Apparently, it's WAAYYYYYYYY more freaking complicated than that. Apparently, since a now disgraced city employee was responsible for creating my position in the first place that means that I am evil and my position is unwarranted. It also means that it makes my departure VERY stressful for my current supervisor seeing as how she is unable to hire someone until after my departure date, which was what I was trying to avoid in the first place by giving 6 WEEKS NOTICE.

So I guess the Old Boys Club has spoken. Too bad I will soon be gone and then...
*cue MC Hammer music*  "Can't touch this..."
