I am a nerd

I have come to the realization that I am a total nerd.  And I've decided to own it and be happy about it. Here's why.

I was thinking the other day that my friend Mary and I should do a road trip soon. We did one a few years ago and had a ball.  I think that's when we knew we were going to be really good friends. You can't get lost in downtown industrial Toronto at 1am while asking each other questions like "Is it possible to be southbound on the 401 north?" while laughing hysterically and not come out the other side friends.

Anyhow, when we had done that trip we had planned the entire trip around two things: clothes shopping and going to Wonderland. We also fit a quick trip to IKEA in there (it was my first time and I got so excited I started to feel like I was going to throw up - weird I know.)

This time though, when I was mentally making a list of places I wanted to go it went something like this:
Lululemon (same as last year - my friends call me a Lulu whore - not charming but accurate).
Anyplace that there are Farmer's Markets
Somewhere we can go pick apples
Somewhere there's a Children's Place.
Starbucks.
Maybe someplace that sells yarn.

And that's when it hit me. It's official. I'm an old lady.
