New Vocabulary

Not sure if it has anything to do with sleep deprivation, or whether it's just new baby joy/silliness but there's a few new sayings floating around my house that I thought I'd share.

Booby-Dude: What we call Isaac 90% of the time. He gained back all his weight and then some within five days of being born - and they didn't let him eat the first day. My midwife commented that he was an excellent breast feeder - hence the nickname.

Booby drunk: The state of half closed eyes and complete satisfaction that turns your child into a limp noodle post breastfeeding.

Vomit-bomb: When you've fed the baby, they look all peaceful, you sit them up in your lap and are instantly covered in baby spit up.

Poop Monkey: What we call Isaac while we're changing a poopy diaper. He squirms so much that he always gets poop on his foot and the way he squirms looks like how a monkey moves.

There are more, I'm sure, but I can't think of them right now. I will continue the list as they come to me.
